Fuse basics. From a to z.

At first sight fuses appear to be simple, but on closer inspection turn out to be highly complex devices. You could write entire books alone on the fuse element that has to melt and cut off in an optimum way and under defined circumstances. Sometimes, though, only core terms are missing.
